Campaz's stoppage-time goal seals Colombia's 3-1 Group K win over Uzbekistan.
Colombia opened the scoring when D. Munoz headed home an L. Diaz assist in the 40th minute at Estadio Azteca. Uzbekistan drew level through A. Fayzullaev on the hour, briefly making it a contest, but L. Diaz restored Colombia's lead five minutes later, finishing from a G. Puerta assist. With the match in hand, substitute J. Campaz added a third in the 90th minute, assisted by C. Hernandez, to confirm a 3-1 result. Colombia held 62 percent of the ball and generated 14 shots to Uzbekistan's six, though only three of those found the target.
The win moves Colombia to three points in Group K at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Uzbekistan, who equalized to make it level at 1-1, could not sustain that momentum and finish the opening match pointless. J. Rodriguez entered at the 72nd minute for Colombia, and further changes followed late as the result was secured. Uzbekistan had made two substitutions at half-time but were unable to alter the contest's direction after conceding again in the 65th minute.
