Green Bay trailed 38-27 with under four minutes remaining before Kyle McCord drove the Packers to back-to-back touchdowns. McCord hit Kisean Johnson on a 28-yard strike at 3:19 of the fourth, and a two-point conversion cut the deficit to three. With 20 seconds left, McCord found Johnson again on a 10-yard pass — Trey Smack's extra point made it 42-38 and ended it. Arizona had led since late in the third quarter, when Evan Hull capped an 8-point swing with a 1-yard rush and two-point conversion to put the Cardinals ahead 31-24. Simi Fehoko's second touchdown, a 9-yarder from Kedon Slovis at 4:55 of the fourth, had extended that lead to 38-27 before Green Bay's finish.

With no standings or bracket at stake in a preseason exhibition, the result carries no competitive weight. Green Bay's McCord finished 22-of-35 for 226 yards and four touchdowns. Arizona's Evan Hull ran for 107 yards and two touchdowns, and Fehoko caught five passes for 94 yards and two scores. Will Sheppard added an 81-yard punt return touchdown in the second quarter for Green Bay.
